Cayman Airways customers urged to use Early Check in opportunity

Customers traveling out of Grand Cayman for this long weekend are being urged to use the early check in opportunity offered by Cayman Airways. This will mean less time in the line at the airport on Friday.

Persons travelling on Friday can come to the Cayman Airways Cargo area at the company’s headquarters tomorrow; Thursday between noon and 8:00 p.m. or check in at the airport between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Passengers will be able to check in up to 24 hours before departure.

Vice President Commercial John Wrightington says, “we are aware that large numbers of persons will be traveling on Friday so we want to urge as any of them as possible to use the early check in. This will alleviate the long lines at check in.”

Mr. Wrightington says persons with small children, the elderly,  or those who need special attention should consider this option.

Once checked in, those persons who are travelling without bags can go straight to the security point on the day of travel. Those persons with bags to be checked should drop them off at the Fast Bag drop off at the Cayman Airways Airport Check in desk. However this must be done one hour before the scheduled time of departure.

Customers are reminded to ensure that they bring their travel documents in order that they can be checked in.
